The thermal contrast between the Río de la Plata coast and more distant areas creates ideal conditions for the formation of this fog. There is reduced visibility to just 50 meters (164 feet) in some areas.

Cold and humid morning, with partly cloudy skies. Presence of fog and reduced visibility at key entrances. Temperatures between 8 and 17 degrees (46 and 63°F), with a marked drop toward the evening.
In distant areas, such as El Palomar or Tigre, the temperature dropped to 4 degrees (39°F), increasing the fog conditions.
