
Two motorcycle thieves shot a man in the head after stealing his cell phone and motorcycle.
The victim had momentarily stopped in front of a barbershop in the district of Moreno, Buenos Aires Province
Since last Thursday, Martín Goitía, 29 years old, has been fighting for his life in a hospital after receiving a gunshot to the temple simply for stopping his motorcycle in front of a barbershop in Cuartel V, in the district of Moreno, in the province governed by ultra-Kirchnerist Axel Kicillof.
At that moment, two motorcycle thieves assaulted him, stole his vehicle and his cell phone, and during their escape shot him, leaving him in critical condition. In the context of the investigation into the attempted murder of Martín, personnel from DDI Moreno – General Rodríguez arrested a suspect, Tomás M.Q., 22 years old.
Nicknamed "Rosquita," the violent criminal was arrested early this morning in San Miguel, hiding after arriving in a ride-hailing car; the vehicle's driver cooperated in his capture.

"Rosquita" was detained for aggravated attempted homicide and aggravated robbery for having been committed in a populated area and as part of a gang, in addition to use of a firearm, in the case being investigated by prosecutor Federico Soñora, from UFi No. 4 of Moreno. He also had an active arrest warrant for aggravated weapons abuse, requested since May 30 by the Court of Guarantees No. 5 of San Martín.
The attempted murder
The investigation began on August 28, around 7:00 p.m., when Martín was riding his Rouser 200 cc motorcycle and stopped in front of the barbershop located at Acevedo and Matienzo, in Cuartel V, Moreno.

At that moment, he was intercepted by two armed criminals riding a motorcycle. The violent thieves stole his motorcycle and an iPhone 14 Pro Max. During their escape, one of the assailants shot him, hitting the victim's right temple. Martín was taken by his family to a healthcare center in critical condition.
After the attack, DDI investigators gathered evidence that allowed them to identify one of the perpetrators as "Rosquita." Search warrants were requested, but initially they were unable to capture him, although they seized cell phones from the suspect's family circle. The analysis of the devices made it possible to locate an active line linked to the accused, confirming that he was in the vicinity of Los Polvorines.
