The Ukrainian Armed Forces launched a new attack on an oil terminal in the city of Feodosia, located on the Crimean peninsula, under Russian control since 2014. According to the Ukrainian Defense General Staff, the shelling, which occurred during the night on Monday, caused a large-scale fire at the Morskoi Neftianoi terminal facilities, where 16 fuel tanks were affected.

The targeted terminal serves as a strategic point for supplying fuel to Russian troops, with a storage capacity exceeding 190,000 cubic meters. According to Ukrainian authorities, these types of targets are part of a systematic offensive to limit Russia's logistical capacity on the southern front.
Kiev intensifies attacks on energy infrastructure
In recent months, Ukraine has increased its operations against Russian oil, gas, and military facilities. The objective, according to sources in Kiev, is to economically impact the Kremlin and hinder the transportation of supplies to the occupied areas.
Last week, the Ukrainian Army carried out drone and long-range missile attacks on a munitions plant in Sverdlov, in Russia's Nizhny Novgorod region, and on another oil terminal and a weapons depot located behind Russian lines.
According to the Ukrainian General Staff, those offensives caused multiple explosions and fires, affecting facilities intended for the production and storage of aerial and artillery ammunition.
Moscow claims to have shot down 59 Ukrainian drones
The Russian response was fierce, the Ministry of Defense of Russia reported that Ukrainian attacks were recorded in Crimea during the last two nights, although without acknowledging significant damage to its infrastructure.
