The Ukrainian Parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, ratified the grand investment agreement in strategic minerals with the United States, after receiving the support of 338 deputies. The agreement, signed on April 30 by representatives of Presidents Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump, establishes a joint fund called the Reconstruction Investment Fund that will give the United States preferential access to natural resource development projects in Ukraine. The new fund will be managed under an equal partnership, with financial contributions from both parties. Although the technical details of the fund's operation have not been released, it is known that the contributions will include revenues from sectors such as mining and energy.
