Morena Rial's legal situation is going through one of its most delicate moments. The daughter of Jorge Rial was detained again after failing to comply with the procedural measures imposed by the court in the context of a robbery case.
She is currently being held at Unidad Penal No. 51 in Magdalena, a women's prison located in the province of Buenos Aires.
While the case dominates headlines and social media, the host of Argenzuela avoided making a direct statement about what happened. However, he made a post on Instagram that did not go unnoticed and was interpreted by many as an indirect reaction to the events.

Through his Instagram stories, Jorge Rial shared a photo of himself outdoors, in a yard with a pool, wearing casual clothes and holding a cigar. The detail that attracted the most attention was the text accompanying the photo: "Between Argenzuela and Argenzuela", he wrote, clearly alluding to the show he hosts on C5N, and he tagged the cigar brand he was smoking.
The post was the first he made after the news of Morena's arrest became public, and its content was quickly analyzed by users and media outlets. Some interpreted it as a display of indifference, while others saw it as a form of emotional distancing in the face of a family conflict that, on more than one occasion, the journalist has described as "toxic".
Morena Rial's lawyer resigned from her defense
As if the situation were not complicated enough for the young woman, her defense attorney, Miguel Ángel Pierri, submitted his resignation from legal representation in the midst of the judicial process.
The decision was communicated through an official document that was shared by the LAM account on the social network X. In the text, Pierri, together with his colleague Martín Nahuel Montalto, stated unequivocally: "By means of this letter, this party irrevocably resigns from the defense previously assigned by Ms. Morena Rial."
The resignation of her defense leaves Morena in an even more complex situation, since she must now urgently seek a new lawyer to represent her in a robbery case that could result in serious consequences.
