This is how Aníbal Pachano reacted to his daughter Sofía's pregnancy

The choreographer quickly shared his excitement about debuting in this new role, which makes him a grandfather for the first time

Sofía Pachano, the beloved actress and daughter of renowned artists Aníbal Pachano and Ana Sans, is experiencing one of the happiest moments of her life: she is expecting her first child with her partner, actor Santiago Ramundo, with whom she has maintained a solid relationship for five years. The news sparked a true wave of joy in the family, and Aníbal wasted no time in sharing his excitement about taking on this new role that makes him a grandfather for the first time.

In a conversation with Pronto, the artist assured that everyone is experiencing this announcement with deep happiness. "We're extremely happy, the whole family and the grandparents above all," he expressed tenderly. However, true to his style, he showed prudence when it came to placing himself as the central figure in this very special moment. "Fundamentally, the parents are happy, both Sofía and Santiago. They're the protagonists of the story," he emphasized, making it clear that his priority is to accompany and support without intruding.

When asked if he plans to spoil his grandchild, Aníbal did not hesitate for a second to confirm that he will fulfill that tradition so many families share: "Yes, yes, yes," he replied with laughter, hinting that his most tender side is already beginning to show.

The baby's arrival also brings back memories of his own childhood. In a recent interview, Pachano recalled with nostalgia that when he turned two, his mother gave him an easel and a painter's outfit, details that shaped his artistic sensibility from a young age. "I used to entertain myself by drawing when I woke up from my nap. At five years old, I was already doing interesting things, and my mother enrolled me in the Da Vinci school," he recounted. Perhaps, in a few years, he will be the one to give a paintbrush or a top hat to his grandchild to continue that creative legacy.

The memory of his mother also includes anecdotes of aesthetic discipline: "She bathed us three times a day and always dressed us in matching colors and designs. We couldn't play or get dirty," he confessed. However, today he assures that with his grandchild it will be different and he will prioritize enjoyment over neatness: "I'll surely prefer for them to play and have fun, even if they get dirty," he commented with warmth.
