While she is going through a complex legal situation and has remained in custody for almost three months, Morena Rial once again became the center of the media spotlight due to an unexpected development: she reportedly applied for the casting of Big Brother: Golden Generation, the reality show that Telefe is preparing under the hosting of Santiago del Moro.
The information became known this Tuesday on SQP (América TV), where Yanina Latorre said that the show's production is trying to entice some well-known figures for the new edition. In that context, the panelist stated that, among the applicants, the name of Jorge Rial's daughter appeared, who reportedly sent her video "like any other applicant."
"I couldn't believe what I was reading", Latorre said on air, surprised by the media personality's decision.
According to her account, the application was reportedly submitted even though the young woman remains in custody in a case in which she is charged with allegedly being part of a gang dedicated to home robberies.
The revelation sparked a heated debate on the show and led to ironic comments. Lizardo Ponce joked about the situation and hinted: "She got confused with the casting for En el Barro", in reference to the prison series.
