The countdown to the 2026 season of Formula 1 has already entered its decisive stage and the teams have begun to reveal their new single-seaters with individual presentations and increasingly creative stagings. In this context, Alpine chose an unusual setting to showcase the brand-new A526: a ship sailing on the Balearic Sea, off the coast of Barcelona, Spain.
The launch will take place this Friday, January 23at 5:30 p.m.(Argentina time) and will feature the presence of the team's two main drivers, Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto. The event will mark one of the most anticipated moments of the week within the calendar of presentations of the Máxima.
Unlike last season, when the category celebrated its 75th anniversary in a joint event at London's O2 Arena, this year each team chose to unveil its car separately. The first to break the mold was Red Bull, which presented its single-seater in mid-flight over Detroit, United States, using a small plane, in an action linked to its alliance with Ford.
