Victoria Villarruel refused to answer why she betrayed Milei and the Argentine people

The Derecha Diario journalist Nicolás Wasiluk briefly interviewed the vice president

After being exclusively questioned by La Derecha Diario about her betrayal of President Javier Milei and the 15 million Argentinians who voted for her, Vice President Victoria Villarruel refused to answer, displaying clear nervousness.

Journalist Nicolás Wasiluk briefly interviewed the vice president and asked her a question that millions of Argentinians are also asking: "Didn't you betray 15 million voters? Don't you feel that you betrayed them, that you betrayed Milei?" the La Derecha Diario journalist asked her.

"I don't think that's a question you should ask me, because the truth is that none of that happened," Villarruel replied, while trying to move away from Wasiluk to avoid giving further explanations.

"There's a lot of talk and unfortunately many people trusted you," Nicolás added, then asked: "Isn't there an apology for Milei?" However, Villarruel concluded with a "thank you all very much" and gave no further statements.

The recent controversy with Victoria Villarruel

After the attempted institutional coup promoted by Kirchnerism in an illegal session of the Senate, where several laws were passed that seek to destroy the Government of Javier Milei's fiscal surplus, Vice President Victoria Villarruel displayed on social media her political break with the Executive Branch and the millions of Argentinians who voted for her.

After having allowed the debate and voting on projects promoted by coup plotters from Kirchnerism and other opposition sectors, which compromise fiscal balance and would generate a new economic crisis, the head of the upper chamber intensified her criticism of President Milei with a series of messages posted on her Instagram account.

"A retiree can't wait and a disabled woman, even less. Let him save on trips and on the SIDE and that's it," Villarruel wrote, responding to a user who accused her of going against the Executive's economic program.

Far from calming things down after the disgraceful parliamentary episode, the vice president insisted on distancing herself from the government's direction and referred in harsh terms to the head of state himself: "A president who can't even greet the person he came to power with? Take your complaint to him, because I never lose my manners."

With these statements, the vice president once again publicly placed herself on the opposite side of the political project to which she belongs and for which she was elected as running mate.
