Villa María: a drug dealer who sold drugs using a delivery method was arrested in Deán Funes
The 43-year-old man had been under investigation for months. He traveled to the northern part of the province every day to sell drugs
A 43-year-old man was arrested by the Anti-Narcotics Police Force (FPA) in the city of Deán Funes. The investigation determined that he traveled every day from Villa María to sell drugs in that area. The operation was carried out in the Centro neighborhood after three months of surveillance coordinated with the Public Prosecutor's Office.
According to the FPA, the accused sold drugs using a delivery method in the central area of Deán Funes. He coordinated previously arranged deliveries, avoiding fixed locations to evade police detection. The raided residence served as an operational base and storage site for the illegal substance.

Marijuana, cell phones, and key elements for the case
During the raid, portioned doses of marijuana were seized, ready for distribution. Cell phones and logistical items used to coordinate the deliveries were also confiscated. The man was apprehended at the scene and immediately taken to judicial headquarters by order of the Prosecutor's Office.
The Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed that the arrest falls under National Law 23,737. The regulation provides for severe penalties even for those who sell drugs in small quantities.

From Villa María to the northern province: a frequent route
The accused used private transportation to travel daily between both cities without arousing suspicion. The distance between Villa María and Deán Funes exceeds 200 km (124 miles), which demonstrates a consolidated drug trafficking circuit. Sources close to the case do not rule out the possibility that there are more individuals involved who collaborated with the criminal logistics.

Coordinated action with the prosecutor's office
The procedure was led by the FPA Tactical Actions Team with prior intelligence support. The Prosecutor's Office for the Fight against Drug Trafficking ordered the transfer of all seized material. The detainee remains in judicial custody awaiting formal charges in the coming hours.
