The Spanish right-wing party VOX, led by Santiago Abascal, presented an ambitious package of measures on Sunday at a public event where it unveiled its economic and housing program, accompanied by a deep reform in migration policy.
Among the main pillars of the plan, the reversal of all mass regularizations of illegal immigrants carried out by successive Spanish governments stands out, in line with the commitments VOX made to its voters, and the subsequent mass deportations.
This measure aims to restore order in the migration system and to avoid incentives for illegal immigration, which, according to the party, have overwhelmed social services and caused problems with the local population.

In addition, the program includes a comprehensive audit of all nationality grants made in recent years, with the goal of ensuring that they were granted in accordance with the law and with the proper criteria of merit, loyalty, and cultural integration.
Another central proposal is the reservation of social assistance exclusively for Spaniards, in an effort to prioritize national citizens over illegal immigrants. The plan also proposes encouraging the hiring of Spaniards through bonuses and incentives for companies, boosting local employment and guaranteeing opportunities for those born in the country.
Regarding security and coexistence, VOX proposes intensifying controls over fraudulent registration and setting limits on the rental of housing by immigrants in irregular situations, in order to prevent overcrowding and improve urban planning.
Legal tools will also be strengthened to facilitate the expulsion of foreigners with criminal records or who refuse to integrate into Spanish society, prioritizing security and public order.

The document also introduces the concept of "remigration," a policy that seeks to offer options to foreigners who, even with legal residence, do not demonstrate a willingness to integrate or adapt their behavior to the country's values of coexistence. This policy aims to avoid social conflicts and promote immigration that is fully aligned with the national culture.
In his closing speech at the event, Vox leader Santiago Abascal again targeted the Partido Popular for its complicity with the Spanish left. "The problem is not only PSOE's betrayal, but also PP's fraud. I say this with as much sorrow as clarity," he stated.
With this program, VOX is committed to a serious, predictable migration policy based on the national interest, strengthening the rule of law and ensuring a future of coexistence and prosperity for all citizens.
