Wanda Nara ended up once again at the center of the media spotlight after a forceful statement in which she confirmed that she will move forward with the seizure of the home that Mauro Icardi shares with China Suárez, which she ironically described as "the dream house."
The businesswoman decided to publicly confront the statements made by the footballer's lawyer and made it clear that the conflict, far from being solved, could escalate in court.
The clash took place live on DDM (América TV), where Wanda spoke by phone with Marina Calabró and replied without filters to the remarks made by Lara Piro, Icardi's legal representative.
La casa de los sueños donde viven Mauro y la China
From the outset, she expressed her anger over the media exposure of the case. "I wanted to clarify a few things because it's not good, especially when other women start speaking badly without arguments and with lies," she stated.
When she was asked about the alleged financial irregularities attributed to her, Wanda was blunt. "There is only one thing, which is reality. I'm accused of a lot of things that aren't true," she maintained. As she explained, the division of assets with Mauro Icardi took place four years ago and outside Argentina.
"I kept the same amount that the other party kept. My settlement was 50 and 50 and it was done in Italy," she stated, and she emphasized that, if it had not been that way, the footballer would have initiated legal action. "If someone steals such an amount from me, the first thing I do is file a complaint, and that never happened," she added.
The child support debt and the criticism of Mauro Icardi's lawyers
One of the toughest points in her statement was related to child support. Wanda asserted that Icardi would only be paying 3% of his salary and harshly questioned his legal defense. "The lawyers are charging 30 thousand dollars to defend a child support debtor. That is a disgrace," she fired.
In that context, she explained that she is currently the one who is covering expenses that correspond to the father of her daughters. "I'm paying what Mauro isn't paying today, and at some point he's going to pay me back," she stated, before revealing the key detail: "He has his house on the island seized."
