Wanda Nara confronted Maxi López before the premiere of MasterChef Celebrity: 'He is a liar'

Wanda Nara spoke about the upcoming premiere of MasterChef Celebrity and surprised everyone with a playful jab at Maxi López, who will participate in the Telefe competition.

In a conversation with PrimiciasYa, the host shared what it was like to reunite with the former footballer during filming. She also acknowledged that the atmosphere was more intense than many had imagined.

The return of MasterChef Celebrity, which premieres this Monday, October 13 on Telefe, will have a special twist. Wanda Nara and Maxi López will once again share space in front of the cameras, something unthinkable years ago.

"Speaking of million-dollar contracts... he took it all", Wanda joked when Juan Pablo Godino asked her about her ex's presence on the show. Laughing, she revealed that he started filming with a rather sharp attitude.

With her usual humor, Wanda admitted that she finds it strange to see Maxi in that role: "It's so strange. Imagine that the last time I saw him, we had three cooks at home. Seeing myself working, since when I was with him I didn't work, and seeing him cooking... even less".

She added, laughing: "He also throws little digs at me. If people thought I was going to be sharp with him, he's even sharper with me!".

She also shared an anecdote about her relationship with cooking: "Since we separated, daddy started cooking for the kids. When they come, they tell me, and I say: 'He's a liar'".

The businesswoman also spoke about what she expects from this new season of the successful Telefe format. "There will be many surprises. At one point, I suggested some participants I would have liked. There's not a single one I'd say: 'I don't want them here'", she commented enthusiastically.

She also confessed that someone cooking for her is irresistible: "I don't have a favorite dish; if it's made with love, it's delicious". Laughing, she shared an anecdote with one of the contestants: "Ian is very studious. I said: 'It's great that you're coming to participate,' and he replied: 'No, I'm here to win'".
