Wanda Nara will remain in charge of MasterChef Celebrity and Telefe made it official.

Telefe dispelled doubts and confirmed that Wanda Nara will be the host of the fifth season of Masterchef Celebrity. The clarification came after rumors circulated suggesting a possible addition of Victoria Vannucci as a replacement.

Everything began when Fede Flowers, a journalist specializing in entertainment, hinted on his X account that the channel had chosen Victoria Vannucci as the new face of the culinary reality show. The comment set off alarms among the show's followers and caused a wave of speculation.

Rumors, denials, and a firm decision

Minutes later, Flowers himself corrected the information. He assured that Telefe contacted him to deny the version. The channel categorically stated that Vannucci was not under consideration and that the only confirmed host was Wanda Nara.

The decision to keep Nara was not immediate. For weeks, her continuity was in doubt due to her media and legal conflicts with Mauro Icardi and Eugenia “La China” Suárez. Even so, the channel prioritized her media profile and her performance in previous reality shows.

Nara repeats formula: from Bake Off to Masterchef

In 2024, Wanda Nara led Bake Off Famosos with good audience levels. Her performance in front of the cameras and chemistry with the participants marked a positive stage in her television career.

Now, she is preparing to lead Masterchef Celebrity 2025, which is scheduled to air in the last quarter of the year, as revealed by Marina Calabró on Lape Club Social Informativo (América). The edition will air between October and December.

The new installment will mark Nara's return to a renowned format, previously hosted by Santiago del Moro.

The champions left by Masterchef Celebrity

Since its premiere, Masterchef Celebrity has established itself as one of the most-watched shows on Argentine television. Its formula of celebrities cooking under pressure and the demanding jury captivated the audience.

The first season (2020-2021) crowned Claudia Villafañe as the winner, with Analía Franchín as the finalist. In 2021, Gastón Dalmau took the title, surpassing Georgina Barbarossa. Mica Viciconte claimed victory in the 2021-2022 edition, leaving Tomás Fonzi as the runner-up.

In 2022, the format brought together former participants in a special edition that crowned Sofía Pachano over Vicky Xipolitakis.
