This Wednesday, May 14, the electoral roll for the 2025 legislative elections in Buenos Aires City (CABA) can already be consulted.
The elections will be held on Sunday, May 18, with the Electronic Single Ballot system. In this note, we tell you where to vote, what is being elected, and how the system works.

Where do I vote in CABA?
The Electoral Secretariat has enabled the final roll for the legislative elections. Any citizen eligible to vote in CABA can now check their voting location.
To access the roll, you must enter the official site of the National Electoral Chamber (CNE) and complete the following information:
- Select the district (CABA).
- Enter the DNI number.
- Choose the gender.
- Complete the verification field.
The system shows the assigned school or establishment, the address, the table number, and the order number for the voting day.

What is being voted on in the 2025 CABA elections?
On Sunday, May 18, the residents of Buenos Aires will elect 30 legislators to renew half of the seats in the City Legislature.
This year there will be no PASO in CABA. The elections will be held directly in general instances, both in May and October.

How do you vote with the Electronic Single Ballot?
The City is once again implementing the Electronic Single Ballot (BUE). This system, which was used in previous elections, allows for digital voting and printing of the ballot.
Step-by-step to vote with BUE:
- Present yourself at the assigned table and hand over the DNI.
- Receive the electronic ballot, place it in the machine, and start voting.
- Select the option on the screen. The machine will print the vote on the back of the ballot.
- Verify the printed content on the screen. Fold the ballot without covering the stub.
- In front of the table authority, cut the stub and hand it over.
- Deposit the ballot in the ballot box, sign the roll, and collect the voting receipt.

What happens if I'm not on the roll?
If a citizen is not listed on the final electoral roll, they will not be able to vote. It is essential to appear on the official list to participate in the election.
Therefore, it is crucial to verify the information before the election day to avoid last-minute inconveniences or claims.
