According to reports, his departure is directly related to a heated on-air argument and a mysterious post by his partner, Daniela Christiansson, who is seven months pregnant.

The message they referred to was published in English and Spanish by Daniela and described the domestic accident she suffered in England—when a spray paint can exploded in her home—a situation that many interpreted as a direct call to the former player.
The reaction was immediate: Maxi packed his bags and left to be with her. However, the reality show's production team did not take the news calmly. "They gave him an ultimatum: if you don't come back on Tuesday, you're out", sources close to the show revealed.
Meanwhile, as the production team tries to keep the situation under control, there is already talk in the Telefe hallways of a possible replacement.
