Stephen "Kiki" Ramos continues to make steady progress in his career and has just reached a historic milestone for Argentine football. The Vélez Sarsfield winger was called up by Diego Placente to participate in the latest microcycle of the Argentine U17 national team at the Ezeiza training ground, becoming the first player born in Haiti to be summoned by a national team of the AFA.
Born on April 3, 2009, in Port-au-Prince, Ramos arrived in Argentina when he was just eight months old after being adopted by an Argentine family. Since then, he has developed his personal and sporting training in the country, where he began to build a path that today places him among the top prospects in the youth divisions.
His connection with football emerged at the age of six thanks to a neighbor who was a Vélez supporter and introduced him to the Liniers club. There, he started his journey in the lower divisions and quickly caught attention for his physical attributes, speed, and ability to unbalance opponents in one-on-one situations.
