Why did Mariano Peluffo leave Qué Mañana!?

Peluffo spoke candidly about his departure from the program. "It was to have more time, I had already announced that I wasn't renewing," he explained. He clarified that his arrival to the show wasn't something he planned in advance either.

"It wasn't a program I sought or decided on," the host emphasized. He added that the offer came at an unexpected time, after the death of Guillermo Calabrese.

An unexpected proposal

"When Calabrese died, I was at the channel for something else: they offered me the morning show," Peluffo recalled. "Everything had to be reformatted because the host used to cook. They decided to add a host with chefs," he detailed.

He also highlighted that the experience was very positive: "It was two spectacular years. We won the Martín Fierro and had a lot of fun."

How did he react to Julián Weich's call?

Peluffo appreciated the gesture of his colleague, who reached out before taking over the hosting. "Julián calls me and says: 'They're offering me the show, is everything okay?'" he recounted.

"I had already announced that I wasn't continuing, so I told him to go ahead without worries," the host added.
