Xbox for PC integrates Steam games: this is how the new library works
Microsoft begins testing a feature to launch games from Steam and other stores through the Xbox app on PC
Microsoft has started testing a feature in its Xbox app for PC that allows users to manage Steam and Battle.net games from a single place.
The new feature is already available for those participating in the Xbox Insider program and aims to centralize your entire library of titles installed on other platforms, but within the Xbox ecosystem.

What does this new Xbox feature on PC allow?
From now on, games installed from Steam, Battle.net, and other compatible stores will automatically appear in the "My Library" section of the Xbox app for PC.
They can also be seen in the sidebar under the label "recently played games". This makes it easier to resume games without having to open several different platforms.
Access from a single place
You will no longer need to open multiple apps to play your favorite titles. Everything is centralized in the Xbox interface for PC.

You can even choose which platforms to show and hide from the "Library and extensions" menu in the settings.
How do you activate this new integrated library?
If you want to try the feature before anyone else, you need to download the Xbox Insider Hub app on your PC.
It's free and allows you to access beta features before their official release.

When will it launch for everyone?
Microsoft has confirmed that this tool will be available to the general public before the end of the year.
It will also be usable on devices like ROG Ally and ROG Ally X.
