Is the official announcement coming? Meta Quest 3S Xbox version leaked
The new Meta Quest 3S with Xbox joystick has been leaked: everything points to a strong return to virtual reality
After years without investing in virtual reality, Xbox is back in the game. A leaked image shows what would be its first VR product alongside Meta.
The leak reveals a special edition of the Meta Quest 3S Xbox Edition, featuring a black and green design and an Xbox joystick included. Everything suggests that the official announcement is imminent.

What are the new Xbox VR glasses like?
The image, shared by analyst Zuby Tech, shows the box of a possible virtual reality combo. It would be a customized version of the Meta Quest 3S, Meta's most affordable model.
The design features green accents, very much in Xbox style, and would come with Meta's classic controllers and an official joystick from the console.
When will they go on sale?
For now, neither the price nor the release date is known. However, everything points to the announcement being very close.

The leaked image appeared just as Xbox has been closing deals with brands like ASUS (for the ROG Ally) and AMD for its upcoming consoles.
An unexpected twist in Microsoft's strategy
Until not long ago, Xbox stated that it had no interest in getting into virtual reality. However, this agreement with Meta shows that they've changed their mind.
Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, had already dropped the scoop over a year ago on Instagram. Since then, nothing more was known, until now.

Will it be the only model or are more coming?
It's not clear if this special edition of the Quest 3S will be the only one. A more powerful version based on the Meta Quest 3 could also be released.
Meanwhile, Xbox and VR fans are extremely excited. Everything suggests that Xbox's leap into the virtual world is already a reality.
