Yanina Latorre and Nazarena Vélez exchanged harsh words live about Fernanda Iglesias

Tension erupted on air when they clashed over the way Latorre reports and the conflict with Iglesias

During the broadcast of LAM (América) this Wednesday, Nazarena Vélez and Yanina Latorrewere involved in a tense confrontation. The trigger was the coverage of the scandal involving Fernanda Iglesias and the disclosure of the alleged infidelity of Diego Latorre, Yanina's husband.

The argument began when  Nazarena criticized Latorre's style when delivering exclusives. According to Vélez, Yanina puts pressure on those involved by announcing that she's going to reveal certain information. "You threaten with a black banner saying 'I'm about to tell, the info is coming to me'", she reproached her live.

In response to this accusation, Latorre flatly denied acting in that way. She explained that her intention is to provide context and that she always notifies the people mentioned before sharing any news.

In the exchange, Nazarena Vélez explicitly showed her support for Fernanda Iglesias, whom she justified for having felt mistreated on different occasions by the footballer's wife. "We criticized Fernanda as soon as she left LAM," the actress said.

"I'm not going to allow it": tension reached its peak

The situation became more intense when Vélez compared Latorre to Fernanda Iglesias. Yanina appeared outraged and stated that she was not going to tolerate that comparison. Nazarena did not back down and maintained:  "Fernanda doesn't want to hurt with the info. She wanted to hurt you, that's something else."

In response, Yanina was blunt:  "That shows she's a bad person. You're comparing a black banner to a woman who had a breakdown and said 'enjoy, I'm going to get revenge.'" Over a story by Damasia Ochoa, which I hadn't even told."

The reference pointed directly to the rumors that have circulated in recent weeks about an alleged infidelity of Diego Latorre, Yanina's husband.

Latorre lashed out at Fernanda Iglesias

Already on her show Sálvese quien pueda, Yanina had launched an explosive outburst against Fernanda Iglesias. Live, she stated harshly:  "Do you want to hurt me with this? I don't give a damn." This way, she made it clear that she did not feel affected by the rumors.

She then targeted Iglesias directly, whom she accused of projecting her own story of heartbreak. "You're a poor girl who was cheated on and then got dumped," she fired without filter.

The panelist also focused on her colleague's professional career. She recalled episodes of alleged mistreatment at Canal 9 and mentioned attacks on Andrea Taboada, threats to producers, and false rumors that, according to her, Fernanda spread about other media figures such as  Analía Franchín.

She even revealed intimate details alluding to blackmail that Iglesias allegedly carried out against her ex-partner for trivial reasons. She ended her outburst with a scathing phrase: "You're the bottom of the barrel. I didn't respond to you before because I don't respond to those beneath me."

The scandal exposed the strong tensions shaking the panelism of Argentine television, where internal conflicts are no longer hidden and are aired during prime time.
