The incident occurred in the early hours of Friday in Palermo, when Lola was leaving a nightclub. At a police checkpoint, she was given a breathalyzer test, and the result was 0.5 grams of alcohol per liter of blood, the legal limit.
According to Yanina on SQP (América), her daughter did not try to evade the checkpoint. "She didn't get in the car, she handed it over and left," she explained. However, the news went viral and caused a strong reaction on social media.
The scandal added a new chapter when Morena Rial got involved in the discussion. She posted a message on her social media attacking Lola and questioning Yanina for criticizing her on television.
"Now that Alejandro Cipolla didn't defend your drunk daughter, you're saying that she can't be talked about."
She concluded: "You talk about everyone, but no one can talk about you."
