Yanina Latorre held nothing back and harshly confronted Cami Mayan over the million-dollar financial claim she made against her ex-partner Alexis Mac Allister. The Luzu host is tired of the young woman continuing to speak publicly about the breakup and justifying her request for a very high sum for the time they were together.
Mayan defended her position again in an interview with María Laura Santillán for Infobae. There she explained that there is a law that supports the claim within six months after the end of cohabitation and said that at first she couldn't think about it, but later felt it was her right. “I have been heavily criticized for this, but there is a law that supports it,” she stated.
Latorre, on the other hand, was scathing in El Observador. She disagrees with taking the case to court and, even more so, with continuing to air the topic. “She needs to let go. She was a girlfriend of a guy, she wasn't even married to Mac Allister,” she shot back.
The panelist recalled that four years ago there had already been an agreement: they gave her 65 thousand dollars, the rent for an apartment for a time, and a car. At that time, Mac Allister was still playing for Brighton and had not signed the million-dollar contract with Liverpool. “When she separated from Mac Allister, he hadn't signed any million-dollar contract. It was a small team where he earned peanuts,” she emphasized.
The moment of separation and the current request
Latorre insisted that the midfielder's big fortune came after the World Cup and the transfer to England. For this reason, she believes that the request for 6 million euros has no basis: at the time of the separation, that money was not in the bank. “She lived a year abroad, not 20 years. And besides the court, she at one point in the interview talks... The claim has no basis,” she continued, shouting.
The host was even more direct at the end: “She became famous for that. She started working because she was Mac Allister's ex, nobody knew her. Meanwhile, Mayan also talked about how she lived in England. In November, she broke down when they showed her an old video on her Luzu show where she was preparing noodles alone. She admitted that she hadn't seen those images again and that it made her very sad to see herself so contained and embarrassed to create content for herself.
“It makes me very sad how I speak, I started making videos very much in a mood asking for permission, I was alone in the house so I spoke softly. I was scared,” she shared. And she concluded that she chose the right moment to start doing something of her own, although at that time she didn't feel like she was in the place she wanted.
