'You saved the family': Carmen Barbieri's emotional support for Yanina Latorre

The scandal betweenYanina Latorre and Fernanda Iglesias  over the alleged infidelity of Diego Latorre  divided opinions in the entertainment world. Amid the repercussions,  Carmen Barbieri  spoke about the issue and not only expressed solidarity with her colleague, but also opened a personal wound.

During her show on El Nueve, the host recalled the difficult time she experienced when Santiago Bal was unfaithful to her. She confessed that, over time, her perspective changed:  "I was so harsh with my words that I'm sorry, truly sorry,"  she declared.

She stated that her ego and pain were so great that she lost what was most valuable: her emotional core. "I lost an entire family. The family I had built with so much love fell apart," she expressed, her voice breaking.

Barbieri praised Latorre's attitude, who prioritized her children's well-being and avoided delving into her relationship with Diego. "People don't know what agreement I have with my husband," Yanina had pointed out, hinting that what mattered was protecting her children.

Carmen agreed with that approach. In her on-air statement, she spoke directly to Latorre:  "You saved the family."  She also made it clear that, if she could go back, she would have acted differently: "I should have been with him until the last day of his life," she said, referring to Bal.
