YPF launches a new pricing scheme with discounts based on time and method
Customers can save up to 6% by paying with the YPF APP during the early morning hours and using self-service
YPF, the oil company, will implement a new system of differentiated prices based on time slots and refueling method starting July 1, aiming to offer a more flexible experience to consumers and promote the use of technology at service stations.
This innovation is supported by the recent inauguration of the Real Time Intelligence Center Comercial and the rollout of the first five self-service pilots, launched last week.
Time-based discounts: 3% off at dawn with YPF APP
The new scheme establishes differentiated prices according to regional and hourly demand. One of the main new features is that, between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., users who pay through YPF's official APP will receive a 3% discount at all service stations in the country.
Additional benefit by method: up to 6% off
In addition to the time slot benefit, using the new self-service system will allow users to obtain an additional 3% discount. This way, at night, those who use both options—YPF APP and self-service—will be able to access a total savings of 6%.

This method will operate 24 hours a day at stations that are already enabled to operate automatically.
Expansion of self-service throughout the country
YPF is actively working to bring the self-service system to 50% of its service stations in the coming months, although there are three exceptions: La Pampa, Jujuy, and Buenos Aires, where local laws still prevent its implementation. Therefore, in those provinces, it will not be possible to apply the 6% discount as long as the regulations do not change.
Average price update of 3.5%
Together with this innovative scheme, starting July 1, an average price update of 3.5% will also be applied, based on variables such as the international price of oil, the exchange rate, fuel taxes, and biofuel prices.
A cultural shift in fuel consumption
With this initiative, YPF seeks to consolidate a new paradigm in fuel price management in Argentina. The customer gains prominence, choosing how, when, and where to refuel, with concrete benefits for adopting new technologies and habits.
