Zaira Nara revealed the whole truth about her relationship with Diego Forlán: 'I was the one who ended it'

The model replied to a user who recalled her failed marriage to the former player

While Wanda Nara and Mauro Icardi are going through a highly publicized and controversial divorce, the repercussions keep growing on social media. In this context, Zaira Nara, the businesswoman's sister, also found herself at the center of attention after receiving a sharp comment on X involving her ex-partner, Diego Forlán.

The message did not go unnoticed. A user harshly targeted the Nara family: "Forlán really dodged a bullet with that family of freeloaders." To this tweet, the opinion of a user identified as María was added, who ironically remarked: "Forlán, the only one who saw things as they are and ran away."

Exchange of tweets where users comment on the relationship between Forlán and the Nara family, and Zaira responds clarifying that she was the one who ended the relationship.

Far from remaining silent, Zaira decided to respond forcefully. "Ms. María, why do you speak without knowing? I was the one who ended that relationship," wrote the model, making it clear that she was the one who ended the engagement with the Uruguayan former footballer.

It is worth remembering that Zaira and Diego Forlán were engaged in 2011 and had wedding plans, but the romance ended unexpectedly and abruptly. At the time, it was Zaira herself who, through a tweet, publicly announced that the wedding was canceled: "Now what I can tell you is: thank goodness I didn't get married."

The post, at that time, caused a great stir in both local and international show business, and marked one of the most talked-about breakups of her career.

Zaira Nara's unusual complaint to Wanda: "while she's in Milan..."

While Wanda Nara enjoys an exclusive vacation in Europe, her sister Zaira did not hesitate to make an ironic complaint that revealed the burden she had to take on in her absence.

Through her social media, the model shared a fun family snapshot that sparked reactions online and hinted at a situation as everyday as it was unusual: taking care not only of her five nieces and nephews, but also of the exotic pets that are part of the clan.

From Ibiza, Wanda shares photos aboard a yacht, wearing designer swimsuits and showcasing her luxurious lifestyle. In contrast, Zaira, who stayed in Buenos Aires, took care of her sister's children—Valentino, Benedicto, Constantino, Francesca, and Isabella—and her own children: Malaika and Viggo.

But that's not all. On top of the demanding childcare routine, an unexpected responsibility was added: taking care of Pepe, the parrot Wanda gave her daughters, who became the new member of the family.

"She's in Milan and we're with the parrot," Zaira said with a laugh, in an Instagram story where the kids could be seen playing with the bird. The video also features her father, Andrés Nara, who joined in as a babysitter and animal caretaker during the weekend they spent in Wanda's luxurious apartment on Avenida del Libertador.

"Well, they left us here," Zaira joked, while Andrés wrapped up the scene with an equally sharp remark: "And Nora in Italy," referring to his ex-wife, who also accompanied their eldest daughter on her adventure.

Finally, with a laugh that revealed her resignation, the host concluded: "We really got screwed!" The comment, although made in a humorous tone, did not go unnoticed.

The natural way in which Zaira shared the family scene sparked sympathy among her followers, who praised her honesty and sense of humor in the face of the demanding "plan B" she had to carry out.
