
Noboa's government allocated USD 23 million for projects in Manabí.
The resources will finance drinking water, sanitation, education, and urban regeneration projects.
President Daniel Noboa toured the areas affected by heavy rains in Manabí this Saturday and delivered USD 23 million for key works in several cantons. These funds come from the Development Bank of Ecuador and will focus on improving basic and educational infrastructure in the province.
The resources will finance projects for drinking water, sewage, sanitation, and urban regeneration, in addition to strengthening educational infrastructure. Notable initiatives include the construction of phases I and II of the drinking water system in El Carmen, with an investment of USD 10.7 million, and the institutional strengthening of the drinking water system in Manta with USD 2 million.
Other funds will be allocated to studies to improve the hydrosanitary systems in Santa Ana and the sewage system in El Matal, in Jama. There will also be investment in creating recreational areas in Chone and constructing new faculties at the State University of Southern Manabí, with an allocation of USD 9 million.

During his tour, Noboa reaffirmed his Government's commitment to quickly and effectively address the needs of the population affected by the floods. So far, more than 60,000 humanitarian aid items have been delivered nationwide, including food, beds, and blankets.
With this investment, Daniel Noboa's Government promotes essential works to strengthen Manabí's infrastructure and assist the communities most affected by the rains. These actions reflect a determined commitment to sustainable development and the recovery of impacted areas.
