The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced through Truth Social that the US Armed Forces managed to rescue the second pilot of the F-15 crashed inside Iran, in one of the “boldest rescue operations in history”.
“I am pleased to announce that he is now safe and sound,” Trump said in his message, in which he also stressed that the rescued soldier, whom he defined as a “courageous warrior”, had remained under persecution by forces of the Iranian regime. .The president stressed that, under his direction, an extensive military device was deployed to carry out the rescue. In that regard, he stated that “dozens of aircraft, armed with the most lethal weapons in the world, were sent to recover it.” Although the pilot suffered injuries during the incident, Trump indicated that he is out of danger and in the process of recovering.
