The President of the United States, Donald Trump, spoke again about the military offensive against Iran's terrorist regime and the role of Western “allies”.
Through a strong statement published in Truth Social, the president highlighted the actions of the American Armed Forces, celebrated the results obtained on the ground and questioned the lack of commitment of the nations that make up NATO.
In his message, Trump revealed that “most of our NATO allies have informed the United States that they do not want to be involved in our military operation against Iran's terrorist regime in the Middle East,” despite the fact that, as he remarked, there is general agreement on the need to prevent Tehran from accessing nuclear weapons.
President Donald Trump.
“Almost all countries strongly agree with our actions and believe that Iran cannot be allowed, under any circumstances, to possess nuclear weapons,” he
said.
Far from being surprised, the American leader interpreted this position as a confirmation of a vision he has held for years about the Atlantic alliance.
“I am not surprised by their position, because I have always considered that NATO, where we invest hundreds of billions of dollars annually protecting these same countries, is a one-sided relationship: we protect them, but they don't do anything for us, especially in times of need,” he said.
The successful US military operation
In this context, Trump focused on the results of the military offensive, highlighting the scope of the operations carried out by US forces
.
“Fortunately, we have decimated the Iranian army: its navy, its air force, its anti-aircraft and radar systems have disappeared and, perhaps most importantly, its leaders, at practically every level, have disappeared,” he said, while stressing that these actions seek to ensure that Iran does not pose a threat again. “So that they never threaten us, our allies in the Middle East or the world again,” he added.

The president also stressed that, as a result of these advances, the participation of other countries is no longer necessary. “Because of our military success, we no longer 'need' or want help from NATO countries; we have never needed it! ”, he emphasized, reinforcing the idea of strategic self-sufficiency in the United States.
Along the same lines, he extended his criticism to other international allies, such as Japan, Australia and South Korea, which he included in a cooperation scheme that, according to his remark, is not equitable. However, far from considering it as a weakness, the president presented it as a demonstration
of strength.
“As President of the United States of America, the most powerful country in the world, WE DON'T NEED ANYONE'S HELP! ”, concluded Trump, stressing his country's power to act independently in defense of its interests and global security
