The Democratic newspaper questioned Trump's role after the attack on the Twin Towers, and the president demanded a public apology

President Donald Trump exploded this Wednesday against the New York Times after the Democratic rag lied in one of its articles claiming that the president was never at Ground Zero after the September 11 attacks in New York.

"The failed New York Magazine wrote a story that I was not at the World Trade Center after the tragedy of September 11 because no one saw me there", Trump said in response to the newspaper's claim. "Well, I don't think I was the first thing on anyone's mind, but I was there, obviously not the same day of the collapse, but shortly after, with a large group of construction workers," he detailed.

The president shared several video clips and photos of himself on the ground near the site of the terrorist attack. In the shared audiovisual material, the Republican mogul can be seen speaking with reporters on September 13, 2001, when he stated that he had been at Ground Zero, describing it as a "disaster." In another clip from that same day, Trump is seen discussing the impact that the terrorist attack had on the city.

Trump also responded to another article from the New York newspaper that talks about his visit to the Pentagon on Friday to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the attack on the towers. In the rag's report, written by "journalist" Maggie Haberman, it is claimed that the president went to the Pentagon instead of New York because "he wanted to give a speech and the annual event has long prohibited speeches."

"On another front of September 11, 'Maggot Hagerman' keeps saying that I did not go to the World Trade Center event in New York, but to the Pentagon instead, because I wouldn't be allowed to speak in New York", wrote the head of state.

"Hagerman, unattractive both inside and out, knows perfectly well that her story is made up. She knows less about me than the average 'street' reporter. I haven't spoken to her in a long time, and there certainly wasn't a 'fact-check' for her story. There never is! Let her reveal her sources, because they don't exist", Trump added, demanding that the Times apologize for the fake news.

"Again, no speeches are given at the New York event and, even if they were, I never asked to speak. Fake news is getting worse and worse in the U.S. It is very important to speak out so that people understand what liars and scoundrels these so-called 'journalists' are", summarized Trump.

"They are angry and sick over the fact that I won the presidential election three times! I hereby demand a retraction from 'Maggot', and also from whoever wrote the false story for New York Magazine. Again, take a look at my clips at the World Trade Center site. I was there as soon as the law allowed. Thank you for your attention to this matter", he concluded.
