After more information was revealed yesterday about Thomas Crooks, the leftist terrorist who attempted to assassinate Trump during the 2024 presidential campaign, the current president lashed out at Biden's FBI and accused it of covering up information about the attack.
Crooks, 20 years old, opened fire from a rooftop with the intent to kill Trump, who was campaigning in the city of Butler, Pennsylvania at the time. One of the multiple bullets he fired grazed the ear of the then-presidential candidate just after he turned his head. Three Trump supporters who attended the event were hit by the bullets, and one did not survive his injuries.
"Everyone knows that the corrupt Joe Biden's FBI did not do what it should have regarding the lunatic who shot me in Butler, PA," Trump stated this morning. "By the time I took office on January 20, most of the information had disappeared, was altered, corrupted, or no longer existed," he indicated.
"New information has just emerged! Why wasn't it seen a long time ago? This was all a Democratic plot to take me out of the election, which failed. The corrupt cop Christopher Wray should pay a price for how he handled this assassination attempt, and certainly for the things he said," the president added.
Recently, the FBI revealed new details about the attack to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, who shared the documents with the New York Post. The files detail that Crooks developed an interest in firearms in his late adolescence and began purchasing a large number of packages on Amazon aimed at enhancing his rifle's capabilities. The purchases were made under the pseudonym "Bob Dole."
