The left remains silent about the 100 million dollars that the billionaire donated to defeat Trump in the midterm elections

The New York Post reported on Saturday that leftist billionaire George Soros has injected more than 100 million dollars into the midterm elections to rescue the Democratic Party from its financial troubles and help it win the midterm elections taking place in November.

George and his son, Alex Soros, have spent over 103 million dollars to date and are on track to break all kinds of donation records in this election cycle. Everything indicates that the businessman will shatter his own spending record of 128 million dollars set during the last midterm elections four years ago, when he was the largest individual donor to a party.

"Money talks, and Soros's money says that the most insidious, unconstitutional, and costly tax increases in U.S. history are on the table," said Douglas Kellogg, director of state projects for Americans for Tax Reform.

The Democratic Hypocrisy

Almost all the money Soros is sending to the Democratic Party is funneled through the Democracy Political Action Committee (Democracy PAC), an entity that Soros launched in 2020 and acts as the family's main political arm.

In April, Soros began his donation cycle to the party by investing 50 million dollars. The level of Soros's spending indicates that the 95-year-old leftist billionaire is not stepping back or formally handing over his empire to his son Alex, an even more radical figure. In fact, the philanthropist has shown that he has no intention of ceasing his attempts to buy elections for his Democratic allies.

It is worth remembering that extreme left Democratic figures like Bernie Sanders or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez have based their campaigns on saying they are "fighting against the oligarchy" and have constantly complained that the rich influence U.S. elections too much. Judging by their silence, it seems that some billionaires are better than others.
