The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced this Thursday that he has achieved a "great deal" to end the war with Iran, which could be signed as soon as this weekend.
It is expected that the new document will be a continuation of the framework and a memorandum of understanding (MOU) from last month, which included a 60-day ceasefire to continue negotiations and reach a definitive agreement to end the war. At that time, the talks were derailed due to fighting between Israel and the terrorist group Hezbollah.
After bombing them for two consecutive nights, Trump stated that Tehran is ready to reach an agreement. "We will have a signing soon, and the documents are practically in their final phase," the president declared, adding: "They want it as much as anyone else."
"We should have it resolved in the next few days, there will probably be a signing, maybe in Europe, and it's something great", he noted, mentioning that Vice President JD Vance and others will be present to sign. Trump is expected to travel to France next week to attend the G7 Summit from June 15 to 17.

On the brink of a historic agreement
The president continued his statements explaining that the Supreme Leader of Iran himself has approved the agreement. He also indicated that he will immediately lift the U.S. naval blockade on Iran, which will cause oil prices to "drop like a stone," according to his words. "Not only will they not have, but they will not buy or develop in any way, shape, or form a nuclear weapon. They will not have a nuclear weapon," expressed the Republican leader.
"They have been beaten. They have been beaten like very few people could endure, and they want to make the deal much more than I do; I guess we could have finished it the other way, but it would have taken more time", Trump said in response to a question about previous failed agreements with the Iranian regime and why he is so convinced that this will be the definitive one.
"We have been hitting them very hard for the last three days. We were going to hit them even harder tonight. They knew it. We told them exactly what we were going to do", the president added. "Maybe it will be Saturday or Monday," he commented without confirming an exact timeline for the signing of the agreement.
