Donald Trump told reporters on Wednesday that U.S. military attacks against Iran will continue after both sides exchanged attacks the night before. "I have been working with Iran for several months, and they should have signed the deal," stated a president whose patience has run out.
Trump had previously expressed that the Iranian regime had "taken too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them", so "now they will have to pay the price".
"In light of the helicopter incident, I suppose we have the right to do that. You know, they shot down a very, very incredible machine, in fact an incredible machine. And at first, they said they didn't do it, then they admitted they did. It's an easy thing, because we have the, we have the bomb. In fact, we have the bomb", Trump indicated.
"We'll see what happens, but yesterday we hit them hard, and today we're going to hit them hard again, just in case they miss it, just in case they don't turn on their television, and we'll see what happens with the deal", the president continued. "We were, we are really close to a deal, but they keep dragging it out, they keep treating us like fools, because you know what. They dealt with some very stupid presidents. I must say it embarrasses me to say that some very stupid people sat here," he noted.

The end of the waiting phase and diplomacy
Earlier this morning, the president announced on his social media the end of the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran, declaring that the Islamic regime "will pay the price" after taking "too long to negotiate a deal that would have been great for them".
Last night, the two warring nations exchanged fire after Tehran shot down a U.S. Apache helicopter on Monday, an action that prompted a severe response from Trump. It remains to be seen whether in this new round of bombings the president will order strikes on power plants and bridges used by the regime, as he had previously suggested.
Overall, Trump seems to have adopted a "zero tolerance" stance towards the delaying tactics of a terrorist regime that continues to postpone the signing of a deal and that verbal pressures no longer seem to faze.
