The President of the United States, Donald Trump, announced through a message on the Truth Social network a series of measures directed against Iran, including a total blockade on vessels linked to that country, as part of a strategy aimed at reinforcing control over maritime trade of the terrorist regime.
In his post, Trump stated that “oil is flowing like never before, thanks to the impressive military might of the United States,” attributing this situation to the actions of the armed forces.
In this context, he highlighted senior military officials, including the Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Dan Caine, and the Chief of Central Command, Admiral Brad Cooper.

According to the president, the strategic Strait of Hormuz “is open to all maritime traffic, except that of Iran,” a situation he directly linked to decisions made by Iranian leadership. In this regard, he stated that this “is due to their lying, violent, and malicious leadership, which is leading them down the path of total destruction.”
Trump detailed that the measure will involve specific restrictions on maritime transport linked to that country. “Therefore, we will impose a total blockade, but only on ships that arrive or depart from Iranian ports, or that transport anything related to Iranian cargo,” he affirmed.
At the same time, the U.S. president referred to conversations held with Middle Eastern leaders, which he described as “very productive.”

From those contacts, he announced a change in policy towards the region. “I have decided to replace the 20% reimbursement rate of the United States with trade and investment agreements that various Gulf States will make in the United States,” he indicated.
According to the president, these commitments will involve a significant increase in the flow of capital into the U.S. economy. “These investments will be enormous, but at the same time, extraordinarily beneficial for them and their future,” he assured, while emphasizing that the country is already experiencing historic levels of investment.
In the final part of his message, the president again referred to the Iranian regime, stating that “the days when Iran was killing hundreds of thousands of people, including 52,000 protesters, are over.” He also reiterated one of his main objectives in foreign policy: “IRAN WILL NEVER HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON!”
