The journalist transmitted erroneous messages to Tehran before the joint US-Israel attack that ended Khamenei's life.

The President of the United States, Donald Trump, would have used journalist operator Tucker Carlson as an indirect channel to transmit false information to Iranian officials, in a maneuver aimed at generating a false sense of security in Tehran.

According to insiders with information from the White House, the objective was to expose supreme leader Ali Khamenei, who eventually died in an attack attributed to the United States and Israel during the recent military escalation in the Middle East.

The news came after Tucker Carlson recently asserted that the CIA accessed his private messages and that the United States government could attempt to investigate him under the foreign agents law for his contacts with Iranian officials in the midst of the conflict between Washington and Tel Aviv and Tehran

Carlson also argued that

the case could lead to an investigation under the Foreign Agents Act, the regulations American law that requires the registration of those who carry out political or lobbying activities on behalf of foreign governments.

The journalist's statements came after the death of Iranian supreme leader Ali Khamenei, who was killed on February 28, 2026 during a military attack by the United States and Israel against strategic objectives of the Iranian regime.

The offensive was part of a series of coordinated military operations against military installations, command centers and positions linked to the Iranian political leadership. The attack hit the compound where the Iranian leader was staying in Tehran, causing his death on the first day of the

offensive.

Carlson's role in Khamenei's death After the

video published by Carlson, versions emerged that link Carlson to the events leading up to the attack. According to these accounts, President Donald Trump had prior knowledge that the journalist was in contact with Iranian officials and that he was passing information to them

From that situation, Trump began to invite Carlson more frequently to meetings at the White House where the situation with Iran was discussed, with the objective of using it as an indirect channel to transmit false information to

Iranian officials.

In those meetings, the president transmitted messages that ruled out a military offensive against Tehran or coordination with Israel.

In one of those meetings, in front of businessmen in the energy sector, Trump stated that there was no possibility that the United States would go to war with Iran or launch joint attacks.

However, this information would have reached Iranian officials through Carlson and the top of the regime would have relied on those messages, reducing their security measures.

For this reason, Khamenei left his bunker to participate in the meeting with senior officials in his office when the complex was hit by the attack that ended his life.

Amid the controversy, Carlson also warned that he could face legal consequences for his Iranian contacts and his role as a “foreign agent”.
