Hamas released proof of life of two hostages 700 days after October 7.

It's a video featuring Guy Gilboa and Alon Ohel, and they ask PM Netanyahu not to invade Gaza City

The terrorist organization Hamas has released a new psychological terrorism video featuring two Israeli hostages who have been held captive in Gaza since the October 7, 2023 attack.

The recording, which lasts more than three and a half minutes, adds to the series of materials that the terrorist group has disseminated with the aim of exerting psychological pressure on Israeli society and the families of the captives.

The footage shows Guy Gilboa Dalal, a young man who was abducted at the Nova music festival, pleading in Hebrew with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu not to order an offensive on Gaza City.

Hamas claims that the video was recorded on August 28, in an environment of destroyed buildings. Toward the end, another hostage, Alon Ohel, appears, whose family later authorized his identification.

This is a repeated pattern: since the beginning of the war, both Hamas and Islamic Jihad have used the hostages as a propaganda tool, publishing edited videos and forced messages under coercion. The objective is clear: to sow fear among the Israeli public, pressure the political leadership, and manipulate the international narrative.

The tragedy of the kidnappings remains an open wound in Israel. Of the 251 people abducted on October 7, 48 remain in Hamas's hands, including 25 whom the army believes to be dead.

In previous truces, the release of some captives was achieved, but always under high-cost blackmail: the mass release of Palestinian prisoners, many of whom were convicted of terrorism.

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have confirmed that they already control 40% of Gaza City, including strategic neighborhoods such as Zeitoun and Sheikh Radwan, and are advancing toward the urban center.

According to the military spokesperson, Brigadier General Effie Defrin, Israel's mission will not conclude until the return of all hostages is ensured and the Hamas regime in the Strip is eliminated.

The contrast is evident: while Hamas holds hostages and displays them in videos of questionable veracity, Israel is intensifying a military operation aimed not only at rescuing its citizens, but also at ending the power of a group that has made kidnapping, manipulation, and violence against civilians its hallmark.
