Trump: 'Hamas doesn't want to negotiate; we're going to have to hunt down its leaders.'

The American leader showed his frustration at being unable to solve the conflict in Gaza through dialogue

United States President Donald Trump acknowledged his frustration over the stalemate in negotiations with Hamas and stated that "we'll have to go hunt" the terrorist leaders.

During a press conference at the White House, Trump revealed that he has held talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, although he avoided giving details.

When asked by journalists about the airdrops of aid to Gaza, Trump simply replied: "I speak with him, but I can't tell you what we talk about."

The president expressed his frustration at the stalemate in negotiations to free the Israeli hostages held by Hamas.

"When you get to those last 20 hostages... it's going to be very difficult for Hamas to make a deal because they lose their shield, they lose their cover. We got many of them out," he said, implying that the chances of freeing the remaining hostages are slim. "It's disappointing," he added.

Trump also referred to humanitarian aid for Gaza, assuring that the United States has allocated "60 billion dollars" to this cause. "We hope the money gets where it needs to go, because they take that money, they take the food," he said, criticizing the management of aid in the area.

The president insisted that the United States is the main provider of assistance for Gaza. "No other country besides us gives anything," he stated.

Meanwhile, Israel announced today that it will allow the resumption of airdrops of humanitarian aid to Gaza, mainly planned from Jordan and the United Arab Emirates.
