Israel's Ministry of Finance highlighted that the imposition of tariffs by the United States on Israeli products will be "only 15%", a relatively low number compared to other countries.
The Israeli government stated that the rate reflects "the positive dialogue" that exists with Washington.
"The tariff rate imposed by the United States on Israel is among the lowest, and it's even lower than the one announced for our country on April 2," said a statement from the Ministry of Finance.
"Including Israel within the group that has the lowest tariffs reflects the positive dialogue and the commitment between Israel and the Trump administration. These discussions are ongoing, with the goal of reaching a comprehensive and improved agreement," they emphasized.
