With President Milei in attendance, the ceremony for the AMIA attack was held.

With the presence of President Javier Milei and a large part of his cabinet, the Jewish community commemorated the 31st anniversary of the terrorist attack against the AMIA headquarters, which on July 18, 1994, left 85 dead and more than 300 injured.

The main ceremony was held, as every year, in front of the headquarters at Pasteur 633, at the exact time the bomb exploded, 9:53.

The event, organized by AMIA, DAIA, and the victims' families, was held under the slogan "Impunity continues; so does terrorism", alluding to the persistent lack of justice in one of the most serious episodes in recent Argentine history.

This year, the event was marked by strong support from the Executive Branch: led by Milei, who arrived at the site after 9:30, accompanied by ministers, national and provincial legislators, City Government officials, and community leaders.

Unlike last year, Vice President Victoria Villarruel was not present, as she had previously announced her absence due to a trip.

Before the ceremony, in statements to the media, Chief of Cabinet Guillermo Francos highlighted the start of the trial in absentia against the international suspects of the attack: "This year, perhaps we are experiencing it with a bit more serenity because the trial against those responsible has finally begun. It's unbelievable that 31 years later there are still no convictions, but it brings serenity to know that the trial has begun."

"A lot of work was done in the investigation, it's known who the perpetrators are. Today we have the possibility of reaching the end in this investigation," Francos added.

The ceremony was hosted by journalist Mariana Fabbiani and featured remarks from AMIA President Osvaldo Armoza and several victims' family members, who once again firmly and emotionally demanded justice.

The commemorative video "Anniversary," narrated by actor Ricardo Darín, was also shown, and the musical accompaniment was provided by singer Germán "Tripa" Tripel.

Thirty-one years after the worst terrorist attack in Argentina, the demand remains the same: memory, truth, and justice.
