Detain those responsible for the murder of two minors in Sinaloa
Omar García Harfuch announces the capture of two criminals in Culiacán, linked to arms trafficking and the murder of the children Gael Antonio and Alexander
In a notable operation, Omar García Harfuch, head of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC), reported the arrest of Jesse "N", alias "Jessy," and Juan Carlos "N", alias "Cholo," in Culiacán, Sinaloa.
These individuals are alleged members of a criminal cell involved in homicides, kidnappings, and arms and drug trafficking.

During the raids conducted by the Attorney General's Office (FGR) in three properties, 20 kg (44 pounds) of cocaine, chemical precursors, crystal, 10 weapons, magazines, and six vehicles, three of them armored, were seized.
"This is the result of strengthening security in Sinaloa," highlighted García Harfuch.
Coordinated Operation in Sinaloa
The arrest of these individuals is directly related to the tragic case of the brothers Gael Antonio and Alexander, who were murdered in January during an attempted vehicle robbery that ended in an armed chase.
The attack caused the immediate death of their father, Antonio de Jesús "N", and serious injuries to another minor who remains hospitalized.
The incident occurred on January 19, when the criminals fired at the family's car. Gael Antonio, twelve years old, died hours later in the hospital after emergency surgery for abdominal and chest wounds.
Two days later, Alexander, nine years old, also died due to the injuries sustained.
The news of the minors' murder caused deep shock in the community, triggering protests and marches demanding justice and more effective security measures.
Community Reactions and Protests
On January 23, hundreds of citizens gathered in a protest march, and later, a second march for peace demanded justice for the minors and the resignation of the state governor, Rubén Rocha Moya.
This case highlights the challenges Sinaloa faces in terms of security and the importance of effective operations like the one led by the SSPC.
The arrest of these suspects represents a step forward in the fight against organized crime and an effort to restore peace and security in the region, ensuring that those responsible for such heinous acts face justice.
