Mexico City, February 17. In a scenario marked by political and social tensions, Partido Acción Nacional (PAN) has launched an offensive against the recent reform to Infonavit. It accuses the ruling party, Morena, of perpetrating a "theft" of Mexican workers' savings.
This controversy comes at a critical moment for the current administration. The government is already facing debates over the management of public resources and the lack of transparency.
PAN denounces fund diversion
Senator Enrique Vargas del Villar, one of PAN's most critical voices, described the reform as an attempt to divert housing funds. He accuses Morena and its allies of using them for political purposes.
PAN has promised to challenge the reform in court. Additionally, it will offer legal advice to workers who wish to file appeals.

Legal actions
PAN will organize a structured legal strategy, involving its legal team and legislators in each state, with the aim of defending workers' housing rights.
