Five bodies found inside top-level SUV in Tequixquiac, Edomex

A Mercedes-Benz with Morelos plates was abandoned with five bodies inside

On the afternoon of Thursday, March 27, five bodies were found inside an abandoned van in Tequixquiac, State of Mexico. The discovery, made by residents, confirms the alarming level of violence plaguing the northern part of the state while the state government remains absent.

Violence erupted again in the north of Edomex

A top-level Mercedes-Benz van was abandoned in a desolate area, near the intersection of the Apaxco-Huehuetoca and Ejidos La Ermita roads. Inside lay five corpses, a scene that shocked the local inhabitants.

The vehicle, with plates from the state of Morelos, had all its tires punctured. Some windows were covered with white cardboard taped with brown tape. Authorities, upon arrival, confirmed it was a new case of multiple execution.

Five executed in a single scene

Inside were found the bodies of a woman and four men, all with gunshot wounds. The woman was in the passenger seat, two men in the back, and the other two in the trunk.

None have been identified so far. Elements of the Mexican Army, National Guard, Edomex Prosecutor's Office, and State Police cordoned off the area. Experts began collecting evidence around 4:00 PM.

The scene was described as one of the most violent recorded this year in the region.

Edomex remains mired in organized crime

This discovery adds to the wave of murders in the north of the State of Mexico. Municipalities like Tequixquiac, Apaxco, Hueypoxtla, and Zumpango have become key routes for drug trafficking and vehicle theft, with total impunity.

Governor Delfina Gómez remains silent. Her government avoids discussing the issue, as if violence were not part of their responsibilities. Instead of deploying firm actions, they only issue general statements and ineffective promises.

The reality is different: Edomex is bleeding, while the officialdom indulges in ideological speeches.

Five more dead who will be forgotten by institutions

So far, the Attorney General's Office of the State of Mexico has not issued clear information about those responsible. There are no arrests, no suspects, no justice.

All that remains is an abandoned van with bodies inside, and a society that has learned to live amid death and institutional indifference.

Because in the State of Mexico, as in much of the country, bodies appear, but answers never come.
