Mexico City, February 17, 2025. In the midst of an economic and social crisis, President Claudia Sheinbaum has sparked controversy. According to official information, she allocates 92,008 pesos per month to the salary of her personal makeup artist, Sandra Leticia Arai Chávez.
This expense was revealed through the National Transparency Platform. Arai Chávez's contract was valid from October 1 to December 31, 2024. So far, no information has been published about its renewal or new contracts in 2025.

According to her resume, Arai Chávez is a specialist in various makeup techniques. She masters makeup for photography, characterization, body painting, wig making, prosthetic makeup, and hairstyling. She has also worked on productions such as "R" by Claro Video and "Run Coyote Run 2" by Estudios Teleméxico.
