If Morena's regime were to fall today, who would we nominate?
The massive mobilization of the 4T seems diffuse, and only these three prospects could lead an effective counterrevolution
Cordial greetings, dear readers. I want to share with you that my previous column was very well received and enriched by exchanges of ideas. I am motivated to think that the ideas of liberty are beginning to resonate in Mexico. It is time to stand firm against the left, which is faltering. Do not give in and know when to act.
In this column, I will write about the evidence that Morena doesn't have the citizen mobilization they believed they had, the people whom I consider could be candidates for a presidency in the future and why, concluding with a call to action.
In the last elections, both local and judicial, Morena showed signs of wear and weakening. They only mobilized 10 million voters for the judicial farce, a figure that falls short of their narrative of omnipresent power.
The evidence doesn't lie.
The massive mobilization that characterized the 4T seems diffuse. That 13% of the electoral roll that went to the polls is a mediocre figure for a federal election exercise for a party with media control and institutional support.

Meanwhile, from the north of the continent, the myth of the maroon party's power is also being debunked.
The Sheinbaum government is under pressure from the United States due to cases of corruption and links to narco-activities. Without confirming or denying the accusations, the damage to the country's reputation is already done and Morena has failed to maintain Mexico's good image before the world.
Morena has also disappointed its own voters, bringing former "Prianista" politicians into its ranks and failing time and again to solve the shortage of medicines.
All these elements create a scenario conducive to thinking about a change.
The support gap is evident. Questioning whether now is the time to "warm up prospects" is sensible.
Who do I consider could be real candidates?
Personally, I think that there are 3 public figures who have the stature and characteristics to lead a counterrevolutionary movement.

I have to talk about Lilly Téllez. The senator picked up the message of the libertarian president Javier Milei in Argentina and celebrated the victory as a triumph for the right:
Téllez recognizes that socialism doesn't work, she is a believer and has something that stands out from the entire political class that surrounds her.
She doesn't shrink before the Leviathan State nor the threats from Morena and has made it clear that she will defend economic and social freedom.

A prospect who I think has solid support is definitely Eduardo Verástegui, leader of the Movimiento Viva México. Personally, I think the producer represents that ultraconservative voice absent in current politics but with a silent majority waiting to be awakened.
Verástegui is an "outsider," meaning he doesn't have a political career. However, his leadership as a producer and his knowledge of the "cultural battle," as well as his closeness to President Trump and Bukele, make him a potential candidate, who will not give in to the socialist left.

Finally, in recent days, I have gained much sympathy for the businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego. Businesspeople are the true social benefactors. The left has unfairly demonized them a lot.
Salinas Pliego's companies provide direct employment to 110,000 people throughout the country and serve tens of millions of internet customers, granting loans, accessible transportation, etc.
We can't deny that the owner of Grupo Salinas is successful and has managed his companies' resources effectively, protecting himself from the abuses of abusive governments.
One of his strengths is his closeness to the president of Argentina, Javier Milei, the architect of the Argentine miracle. In Salinas's words:
"Milei is a balm for those of us who believe in liberty"
The businessman recognizes that the left can't be given even a millimeter and his capitalist convictions make him a profile that will not allow socialism to advance and destroy the country's future.Salinas Pliego offers economic muscle and mobilization capacity.
These three profiles combine values such as social conservatism, defense of the family, economic freedom, and great courage and bravery in the face of the left. Together, they could chart a roadmap for a firm opposition.
The international environment favors this new era. The victory of Milei in Argentina and Trump in the United States means that we are at a turning point. The left is weakening throughout the continent and Mexico is no exception.
The continent is seeking alternatives to statism, cultural Marxism, and the corruption and cynicism of the political class.
I want to conclude by making a call for responsible action and a conclusion.
I recognize that the 3 figures I have mentioned are controversial. However, we must understand something: we can't continue voting with emotions. We have to vote with our heads. We have already seen that the transformation proposed by Morena failed as always. Now it is time to build a clear path toward an operational, effective, but above all, united right.
An early choice of values is needed. A solid coalition. Perhaps one that could integrate Téllez, Verástegui, and Salinas. Without impositions, with commitment and effectiveness. That they wage a cultural battle, defend the family, promote meritocracy, and the ideas of liberty.
If Morena's regime collapses today, the country can't be left in the hands of the lukewarm. It needs successful people, whose achievements speak for them and whose stories of overcoming adversity and success show that with intelligent work and helping others, it is possible to move forward. Firm conservatives and entrepreneurs committed to liberty are needed.
The challenge is to unite wills, not mix values. Be more political, not more fanatical. Think critically and act strategically. Build a true alternative for justice, prosperity, and family.
Because in current Mexican politics, emotion has already failed us. Today it is time to think. Today it is time to build.
