Álvaro Perrone and operator Diego Martini attack Inés Monzillo
The Cabildo Abierto deputy and the political operator of the radical far left attacked Monzillo on Twitter
National Party alternate deputy and former cabildante Inés Monzillo suffered ruthless attacks on X (formerly Twitter) from Cabildo Abierto deputy Álvaro Perrone and ultra-left political operator Diego Martini Lemos.
The latter pretends to be a journalist but receives a hefty monthly salary paid by all taxpayers in Montevideo through their taxes.
The exchange arose because Perrone, a re-elected CA deputy for Canelones, accused Monzillo of promoting "illegal taxis" in Ciudad de la Costa, based on a WhatsApp status.
This accusation, released on Twitter, not only reflects a criticism of Monzillo but also an attempt to position himself as a defender of local interests (Canelones taxi drivers) and to maintain CA's relevance during a period of political transition.

Monzillo, now in the National Party, replied with sarcasm, accusing Perrone of seeking fame and neglecting real problems, which demonstrates the personal animosity and competition between the two in Canelones.
Perrone's public accusation was extremely malicious. He did it to expose Monzillo to public contempt by airing a simple WhatsApp status.
The ultra-left operator Diego Martini
This individual is a field reporter for Tv Ciudad, a channel owned by the Montevideo municipal government that is funded by taxpayers' money.
Martini Lemos took advantage of the situation to gratuitously slander Monzillo. This so-called journalist, who had nothing to do with the matter, launched a public lynching against Monzillo.

Diego Martini's actions are serious, since he uses a state-owned media outlet funded by the efforts of taxpayers to engage in partisan politics in favor of the ultra-left and to destroy with false and malicious accusations those he considers political opponents of Frente Amplio.
Diego Martini Lemos is a well-known operator of the ultra-left who, under the guise of a journalist, uses a public media outlet funded by everyone's taxes to engage in partisan and ideological politics in favor of the ultra-left.
If he were truly a journalist, he would work for a private media outlet and wouldn't receive public money every month.

This money is taken from Montevideo taxpayers to pay shadowy political operators.
Montevideo residents pay extremely high taxes and are supporting these political operators who collect everyone's money to do dirty work.
