The Vice President of the Republic attended on Friday the 21st the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Union of Communist Youth (UJC), the youth branch of the Communist Party.
Communist deputy Bruno Giometti confirmed on X Cosse's presence at the event.
This organization is supposedly the youth arm of the aforementioned totalitarian and anti-democratic Party.
The UJC was founded in 1955. Since that year, it has always supported all the communist and anti-democratic regimes in the world.
From the now-defunct Soviet Union, through North Korea, and all the communist tyrannies that have existed in Eastern Europe.
Of course, since 1959 when Fidel Castro established communism in Cuba, both the Communist Party and the UJC have supported the island's totalitarian tyranny.
More recently, since 1999 when the chavista dictatorship was established in Venezuela, they have defended the regime of Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro.
In 2024, they expressly supported the mega electoral fraud of dictator Maduro to perpetuate himself in power.
Whitewashing dictatorships
Carolina Cosse, by attending an event of a totalitarian and anti-democratic political organization that believes neither in the rule of law nor in human rights, is endorsing the Frente Amplio government's support for a sinister dictatorship that executes, tortures, and imprisons opponents.
This is serious. It is worth noting that Cosse not only attended the event but also spoke.
