Scandal in Orsi's government, Port Director resigns
The Vice President of the National Ports Administration resigned amid another scandal
The vice president of ANP, Alejandra Koch, resigned following controversy over the promotion she granted to her husband and the double remuneration.
The Minister of Transport, Lucía Etcheverry, announced that Koch submitted her resignation on Friday, May 2, and she accepted it. Koch had voted for a promotion for her husband in her first session in office.
Days earlier, the minister had overturned the decision of the ANP board, approved with the votes of Koch herself and the president of the organization, Pablo Genta, to promote to the position of head of the Occupational Safety and Environment Division, RicardoSuárez, Koch's husband and until then deputy head of that division.
Etcheverry annulled the promotion decision because she understood that "from an ethical political point of view it was not appropriate."
Dark Socialism
Alejandra Koch has been a militant of the SocialistParty for many years, just like her husband.
The Party, founded in 1910, has always had irregular management when it comes to administering public functions.
When they finally came to power in 2005, in Vázquez's first government, the socialists had notorious cases of irregularities in the government.

All this looks a lot like a distribution of privileges and public money paid by taxpayers with their taxes.
Uruguay is a country with a huge tax burden, citizens pay very high taxes in all areas, and politicians who hold positions in public administration squander it and accommodate each other.
It should be noted that Koch's husband was the main union leader of the ANP.
While being a unionist, he was an active militant of the Socialist Party. The Party leaders have known for years about the serious irregularities occurring at the port.
They were fully aware of the situation but kept it quiet and concealed it.
Only now, as the issue arises in the press, the socialist leaders feign indignation, but they have known about the situation for years.
More Shady Cases
It should not be forgotten that from the Socialist Party are DanielOlesker, who never showed his supposed economist diploma, MauricioZunino, current mayor of Montevideo who placed AnaInésMartínez in the municipality and then made her resign, and JuanCeretta, candidate for councilor of Montevideo from the Party who declared last February for assaulting a 10-year-old girl with different abilities.

Socialist Cocktail
The socialist cocktail is dark, and there is a shady handling of taxpayers' money.
Meanwhile, Uruguayans continue to pay high taxes, in Orsi's government, accommodations, distribution of positions, and waste of public money flourish.
