19 new diversity offices were announced across the country

The disgraceful drag show in front of national symbols

On Monday, September 15, following a call made by the trans secretary of Human Rights of the Presidency, Collette Spinetti, a shameful spectacle took place in front of the national symbols.

The event Towards the Strengthening of Human Rights of LGBTIQ+ People: Diverse Territories featured "artistic" performances by two drag queens, Negrashka Fox and Pady Jeff, hired by the Presidency for a talentless and unpleasant show. They were even the masters of ceremony. There are still no public resolutions documenting the expenses incurred for their "artistic services."

Housing, work, education, health, anything else?

During the sessions, representatives of LGBT+ lobby social organizations spoke, such as Paula Moreno —a member of the Colectivo Diverso de Las Piedras, known as "DJ Fuega"—. On behalf of her community, she was blunt: they intend for the State to provide them with housing and jobs, in addition to specific education and health services.

Gay pride

Among the authorities, in addition to Spinetti, Federico Graña, undersecretary of Mides and a member of the LGBT community, participated. In his speech, he stated: "Another moment has come to use the feathers... the best thing a gay man can do is pull a feather from his heart and write history again". Graña stated that the most significant deficit is in the trans labor quota and announced that the Comprehensive Law for Trans People will be reviewed. He also considered it a priority to work on bullying in schools and comprehensive sex education.

In this regard, something concerning: Collette Spinetti claimed to have contributed to the new Comprehensive Sex Education plan and the ANEP Diversity Guide.

"In Every Territory, More Rights"

Human rights and diversity offices will be created in all local governments, coordinated with the National Human Rights Plan for policies on housing, education, health, gender, and diversity. Setting up 19 offices will mean that taxpayers will fund more salaries, rents, and services. According to an unofficial estimate, the annual cost could exceed $187 million just to promote the LGBTIQ+ agenda throughout the country.

At the closing, Spinetti stated that the challenge is to continue territorializing policies and building with civil society: "It is the organizations that tell us what is happening, and the State must have tools to provide solutions".

The aspirations of the trans secretary of the Presidency

Spinetti emphasized that, in an international context where "there is an attempt to delay and stop human rights," Uruguay constitutes "an island" and a model of respect and guarantee. "As our president Yamandú Orsi always told us, this is a disruptive, transgressive, and uncomfortable policy, but we're going to keep doing it."

In her closing remarks, she stated: "I want a trans president in Uruguay, I want ministers from our community. I don't want us to be forbidden from going to a public restroom of our self-perceived gender, we don't want that in Uruguay".

In conclusion, taxpayers are funding gender dysphoria and self-destructive ideological whims, which only contribute to the deep demographic crisis of our Republic.
