The next edition of the Copa Argentina already has all its participants confirmed. Claypole secured the last spot after defeating Deportivo Español 5-3 on penalties and completed the list of 64 teams that will compete in the 2026 edition of the country's most federal tournament.
The 14th edition will begin in the last week of January and the opening match will feature Independiente Rivadavia, the reigning champion, as is the tradition of the competition.
On Wednesday, December 10, starting at 12, the draw for the round of 64 matchups will take place, where the paths of the clubs toward the grand final will be determined. The tournament will bring an important innovation: for the first time, VAR will be present starting from the round of 16, after having been used only in the final in 2025.
